A high ranking Cardinal in the Catholic Church said last week that the church should move towards a morality based on virtue rather than avoidance of sin and center on happiness rather than duty. WOW! Apparently he is one of the few top ranking ecclesiastics that can actually have some influence in getting this done.
Just think what it would mean if a large chunk of the world started think about virtue and happiness rather than sin and duty. If thoughts have energy, and increasingly this is being proven, then there would be a huge shift from negative to positive energy.
In my small world, it would mean that people around me could quit acting like martyrs, could start to like themselves and take time to take care of themselves, stop criticizing everything around them, and most of all it would create a larger, better force field of positive energy.
And, I might even consider going back to church.
Amen! We may actually abandon the thinking of the Middle Ages. Looking ahead here!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! and yes, I know thoughts have energy. It is a remarkable fact but true that the thoughts that we have, have indeed got power. You only have to watch the brain scans that are possible these days to see the activity that goes on in the brain and the energy that the brain produces. There is so much we still have to learn.
ReplyDeleteI have 'gone off' the established church in latter years believing it to be too restrictive and I have gone back to more natural pagan roots which seem to make a whole lot more sense to me.
By the way, the spring water I collect is energized by the moon and is later used throughout the year to make 'wishes' happen (only good wishes, of course) and to encourage plants to grow well. It works. You should see my garden blooming!
Have a great weekend.
