I ate the first four ripe strawberries yesterday. They are small but delicious, very much like wild strawberries. My tomatoes and peas are beginning to blossom. So far I am eating beet greens, spinach, onions and radish and totally enjoying them. It is just about time to start my next seeding. This time I am going to try coffee grounds in the row where I plant my radish to try and deter the little worms.
We have had a beautifully warm summer-like month with just enough rain to keep everything green.
